She is up to date on her rabies vaccination. Soddikha is a super sweet, somewhat laid back her with impeccable house manners. Soddikha gets along beautifully with other dogs, with cats, with small children…pretty much everyone. She loves to play fetch with a tennis ball but also has a quiet calm side to her personality. Austin Sheltie Rescue is helping the family find a new home for this super sweet girl, this is a courtesy listing.

Adopted December 2016

Huey – Little Baby Huey was owner surrendered to the Austin Animal Center because the new owner thought the little guy had parvo and she was just not equipped to handle all of what he needed to survive.  AAC contacted us to help him.  We found that he did not have parvo, he just needed a little extra TLC, fluids and special care to pull thru.  When Huey came in to rescue he only weighed 2.5 pounds at 8 weeks and with lots of good food and extra care, he is up to 6.5 pounds at 11 weeks.  At first we thought he was a smooth sheltie but as he has begun to grow we see that he is going to be a Smooth Collie…aka ….a Smoothie.  He is working on house training, teething, eating, playing…all of the things that little puppies do, and he is doing well with them.  Huey won’t be available until after he is neutered at 6 months.

Adopted December 2016

Pippin – Pippin is a 10 year old from south Texas. His owner passed away and his family surrendered him to a rescue. Pippin stands 16 inches tall and weighs 24 pounds. Pippin is being pre-treated for heartworm treatment and is being treated for the skin infection. Pippin gets along well with other dogs, including small, pesky puppies and he loves to play with chew toys. He likes to take short walks and is house trained and crate trained.

UPDATE: Pippin has finished his heartworm treatment and is doing well. His skin infections are gone and his coat is growing back in thick and full, it is going to look great when it’s long and shiny. He still enjoys walks and loves to play fetch with a tennis ball, he considers tennis balls to be his best toy, always seems to have one in his mouth.
