Another trip today. This time to pick up an owner surrender. This is Porter, he’s about 10 months old, a sable merle….love those blue eyes, and very skittish and frightened. His owner recognized that he just wasn’t going to live his best life with her and asked us to help him. He weighs 13 pounds and is about 14 inches tall. He is neutered, up to date on all vaccines, heartworm negative, on heartworm preventive, and has a whole new world to learn. First will be leash training. The foster family is so looking forward to helping him be a sheltie.
