Another trip north to secure an owner surrender. The ill health of the owner brings Buddy, now Cowboy, to Austin. Very shy and scared, he’s spent a lot of time with fleas and in a crate. Some of that crate time was his choice. He’s 4 years old, up to date on vaccinations, being neutered at Crossing Animal Clinic, very sweet and shy. Weighs 30 pounds and stands about 16 inches. More as we get to know him and see his personality blossom.

Update on Cowboy: He’s had a thorough vet check, is up to date on all vaccinations, heartworm tests (negative), and heartworm preventive. He currently has a skin infection, and he is getting special baths and taking antibiotics. He weighs 32 pounds and stands about 16 inches tall. He’s a bit skittish but is learning that the world is not so scary. He likes to come to my side for pets while I’m watching TV or at the computer. He is housetrained and gets along well with other dogs.
