Missy (was Sheena) was helped over the Rainbow Bridge in July 2026.
Made herself right at home on Day One. Walked in the house, went straight to my room. She knew she was safe & matched the decor Black and White. My bed became hers.
Loved her walks, would tell me when it was time to eat even time for 7PM Treats and Belly RUBS,. She was a bit reserved. Once Missy knew I was ok with others, (people or Dogs.) She was their friend as well. Missy was my “soul” dog. Mirrored actions and attitudes. Protective, Gentle, Loving, Patience and Serious. Always eager to Please, But Bossy also. Never played with toys or gave many Puppy kisses (suspect she never got to play before) Made up for that with staying close but not a Velcro girl. Always looking out to see what or who was coming. Chased those squirrels but never the birds. I couldn’t have had a sweeter Sheltie. Certainly, kept me in line. Run Free Sweet Missy you were dearly loved and are Greatly missed.

Missy was Sheena – Sheena came to us because she didn’t do well with a small child that stole her food. Sheena is about 3 years old, stands about 16 inches tall and weighs 26 pounds. She is spayed, up to date on all of her vaccinations, micro-chipped, heartworm negative and on heartworm preventive. Sheena is housetrained and crate trained. She likes to take walks and does well on a leash. Sheena gets along well with other dogs, not sure about cats. She is a bit concerned about small children so would do best in a home with either older children or no children.
Adopted March 2015
