Luna and Abby 2 were owner surrenders to our local animal shelter because the elderly owners could no longer care for them. Luna is about a year old, weighs 24 pounds, and stands about 15 inches tall. She is spayed, up to date on all vaccinations, heartworm negative and on heartworm preventive. Luna had always lived outside so she is working on house training.

Notes from her foster mom: This gorgeous collie or sheltie mix is the perfect blend of calm and playful! When she first meets you, Luna is a little cautious, but after the first pet, you’re her friend! She loves to play with (and tear apart) most any toy! She’s happy playing by herself, she would love another pup to run around the yard with. She is okay with cats, but will chase and bark at them, if you have a cat that loves to play with dogs, that’s perfect for Luna. She’s still a puppy and needs some house training. She’s mostly got it down, but prefers to do her business on a walk versus in a backyard. You can see the smart behind Luna’s eyes, she’ll make a great hiking companion or agility dog or just a friend who can do some cool tricks.
