Roux came to us from the Austin Animal Shelter. A cute little stray found on the street. Roux is about 4 years old, he is a mix of 50% chihuahua and 50% of a lot of other dogs. Roux is up to date on all vaccinations, neutered, heartworm negative and on heartworm preventive. He weighs about 10 pounds and stands about 8 inches tall. He is tiny, busy, silly, and loving unless in pain. We quickly noticed that some times Roux walked differently and seemed to be in pain. We found that he had some old damage to his front left and back right legs, a surgeon recommended no action as it might not improve the situation or could make it worse. The damage does not slow him down.
