A new guy in town. Meet Tex, he’s a sheltie mix that came in from the Pflugerville Animal Shelter after being found as a stray at the nearby lake. Tex is about 2 years old, a bit overweight at 56 pounds…really needs to lose at least 15 pounds. He’s about 16 inches tall and looks a bit like a potato. Tho he is heavy he moves easily and is quite agile. Tex is a very sociable sheltie and knows how to work a room, he goes from person to person giving out snuggles and hugs. He knows several commands; sit, down, kennel or crate, come, and he walks well on a leash. He gets along well with other dogs, large and small. He is up to date on all vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm negative, and on heartworm preventive. He currently has meds for some green gunk in one eye.
