Had to go to Waco to pick up a Sheltie that had been found as a stray in Mesquite, appeared he was left at a dog park. A volunteer went to the shelter, made friends with him, and secured his release to ASR. Today another volunteer agreed to meet me in West to get this big boy to Austin. This is Gordy, he appears to be a large sheltie, that is what shows in the pictures. But in person he looked more Belgian Shepherd. Yep, DNA test. Gordy is a sweet, loving fellow. He’s about 17 inches tall and weighs around 40 pounds, has been neutered, he is heartworm negative, and on preventive. He is also very gentle and obedient. He knows several commands and is quick to respond.
