Charlie came from the Converse Animal Shelter, just outside of San Antonio.  a wonderful, small, non-profit, no-kill shelter. He’s 5 years old and super sweet. He was an owner-surrender due to a growth on his gums, which is about the size of a large grape. His owners couldn’t afford the surgery or care. He has been neutered, had a dental, microchipped, and the growth in his mouth has been removed.  The growth was sent off for testing, and the lab reported that it was a benign proliferation of gingival tissue. He stands about 16 inches tall and weighs 28 pounds.  Charlie is heartworm-negative, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, leash-trained, and heartworm-negative.
